Vehicle Detail
I am selling my 1964 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200. I bought this car three years ago after it had been sitting in a field for several years. The car has a 225 slant 6 and a 904 push button automatic. The original motor was burning a lot of oil so April of this year we put a 225 slant six with 35000 original miles from a 1980 Dodge Diplomat in. The original motor is available and will go with the car. The car runs and drives great and I drive it everywhere. We take it to several car shows in and out of the state and she was even my daily driver for awhile. It is not perfect but it shows well and gets lots of attention. Everyone always wants to check out the push button auto. She has even won a few trophies. The car was painted 2 1/2 years at Maaco. It is a good 20 foot paint job. The car is straight with some minor dings. I put new tires with Cragars on it when I bought it and they probably have 2500 miles on them. The front seats were re-upholstered and the rear seat was repaired about a year ago. The carpet was put in new last year. The headliner is in good shape but has a few small holes. The dash is ok except for a couple of cracks in the dash pad. The gauges all work but the radio does not. The glass is all original and other than a few scratches is in good shape. The odometer shows around 42000 miles but I don't know if it has turned over once or twice. Original owners manual included. Mechanically the car is great - all new belts, hoses, water pump, almost new motor (35000 miles), electronic ignition, plugs, wires(all old parts included). The carb is the original Carter one barrel that we rebuilt in May. The radiator was rebuilt a year ago. The transmission is original and works great. Overall I trust this car to go anywhere. She is a cruiser and even though I did take her down the race track in May (she ran 21.13 in the 1/4 lol) she prefers to cruise around 60 to 65 mph. She is a great car that you can drive as is and make even prettier later if you want. We don't want to sell the car but have too. If you have any questions at all or want more pics please call me at 303-801-8728. Thanks. Kim $500 deposit within 48 hours and payment by cash or money order within 5 days. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer - we will help load.
