Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 1972 Ford F100 Ranger Here it is! This is the truck you have been looking for. It’s a built 1972 Ford F100 Ranger. It looks original but sounds like a car waiting to go down the ¼ mile drag strip. The years are going by faster and faster, and these trucks are becoming harder and harder to find. It is very rare that you even find original parts for a 1972 truck like you are looking at today. This is a running and driving hot rod! It is not a show truck, it does have some rust, but it is the perfect truck to cruise around in. I would literally jump in the truck today and drive it anywhere. No matter where you take it, the second you pull out of the driveway, you will have people taking pictures of the truck and asking you questions about it. This truck is an absolute blast to own and drive. You will have people who come over to the truck just to listen to it idle with the 393 stroker motor and massive camshaft beating the ground. The best part about this truck is the fact it is not a $50,000 show truck, but it is just as fun to drive! There is thousands of dollars invested in this truck, and here is the chance to own it at a fraction of the cost. With that said, below is a list of the characteristics that make this truck what it is today: - VIN: F10GLP42488 - 48,XXX Miles on body - 393 Stroker Motor (very low mileage) - Massive Camshaft (.600+) - Complete MSD Ignition - Holley 750 Double Pump Carburetor - Valvoline Synthetic Fluids Bumper to Bumper (9/25/2103) - Long Tube Headers - Dual Super 44 Flowmaster Mufflers with Turn Downs - RAT-G 3 speed Transmission. Two shifters. Farthest one from driver controls REVERSE and 1st. Closest one controls 2nd and 3rd. IT IS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST TO DRIVE! - NEW Air Filter - NEW Battery - NEW Staggered Riddler Wheels - NEW Nexen Tires - All lights work (interior and exterior) - Windshield wipers work great - All glass is present (all windows work and roll up/down) - Door locks work - Doors open properly - Hood latches and opens well - Minimal rust - Lowered 5” in the front - Lowered 7” in the rear - NEW gas shocks in the rear - NEW brakes - NEW brake lines - NEW Radiator - All switches work - Aftermarket RPM Gauges (tachometer) - Three aftermarket Sunpro gauges in gauge pod (oil pressure, temperature, and voltage) - Working radio with speakers - Bench seat is in okay condition but has a nice cover over it - Floorboards are in great shape - COMES WITH ORIGINAL FACTROY MANUAL AND OTHER PAPERWORK - CLEAN AND CLEAR TITLE - RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT! - The paint is not in perfect shape. It could use a paint job as the current paint job is old. - The rear drain plug drips a few drops of oil on the ground when it sits for a few days. Transmission does have a slight leak at the speedo output. As long as you check them monthly, they are fine and hardly ever make the fluid levels vary. - The passenger side front end near the headlight has been “crunched” in a little bit. It’s nothing that I would consider sever body damage. - Temperature and Oil Pressure in dash are disconnected. They are monitored on the three aftermarket Sunpro gauges. - The choke is not hooked up. It does not need to be with this motor. It starts exactly as it should no matter the temperature and no matter how long it has been sitting. - THIS IS NOT A SHOW TRUCK! However, it is mechanically sounds and drives very well. It starts freely, runs very smooth throughout the entire RPM range, and has absolutely no smoke at anytime. It turns with no hesitation and brakes work great for manual drum. The list goes on and on, therefore, I know I am forgetting a few things, but I have done my best to list everything that this truck has or includes. You will be very pleased with the attention it gets while being driven. There are endless possibilities with this truck. You could literally leave it exactly as it sits and drive it for years. You could invest thousands in order to make it the fully restored piece of history. You could install your choice of replacement parts to have the truck meet your preferences. The list goes on and on forever. This is a 1972 Ford F100 Ranger PICKUP TRUCK! There is no other truck like it, and it is by far one of the coolest vehicles I have ever owned! You must hear and see this truck in person to appreciate it. Please, keep in mind this vehicle is considered an antique. It is by no means a show truck or a “perfect” condition truck. There will be absolutely no test drives without cash in hand. I will not haul nor drive the truck for you to decide if you like it or not. You are the buyer; therefore, you are responsible for all parts on your end of the sale (i.e. shipping, title transfer, registration, insurance, inspection, and so on).
