Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my 1972 Land Rover Series 3 pick-up truck. The truck is in good condition for its age and had been my daily driver until I took it off the road a few weeks back. The truck has undergone many changes since it was brought to the US, so it is far from original. But it still remains a solid example of a Land Rover pick-up (not a station wagon). Regular maintenance (oil changes, oil filter changes, timing, tappets, etc.) done at least twice/year. It does have the usual Series Land Rover leaks at the locations you would expect, but they are not significant (a drop or two overnight is what I have found to be average). Odometer (and speedometer) reading is in kilometers and equates to approximately 45,000 miles. FYI engine is an 8:1 head. Thanks for looking! For the most part, the frame is solid although it is not galvanized. The driver and passenger floorboards also have some minor rust, but no more than would be expected for a truck of its age. There is no title for this vehicle, a bill of sale will be issued after the sale is finalized. Seller assumes no responsibility for shipping the truck. The truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to terminate the auction early if needed. Please email with questions, I will try to answer as soon as possible.
