Relisted due to a non-performing winner. SUMMARY- This is probably one the best all-around SAAB 900s around for sale. The very dark green color is rare and in great condition, interior shows little or no wear, the knobs, dash, white parts of the dash are perfect shape, like new, the front grill which is never complete without fault looks new, headlights no pits or discoloring, headliner is new as along with many other items. As a 5 time SAAB 900 Classic and SPG owner this is by far the best I have ever come across or seen. Different from the others listed is that this car has been driven minimally weekly since owned not sitting around so when you do drive it there is expensive work to be done. It has also had ALL of the work you could possibly imagine doing/done to it which is completely documented over $6,500 in last 5,000 miles. It has everything! All 3 original keys, every book and manual and the leather and cloth folder in excellent condition, it has even the pen, tire gauge, dealer info included in this folder too. It has a leather journal from the original owners documenting oil changes etc. had written, it has every maintenance record from when it was rolled off the lot until now, all are included with the car in the folders they came in. It is a dream come true for many die hard Classic SAAB owners. Owned by one loving old lady owner except for less around 500mi. Personal log book of had written records of oil changes etc. All receipts of service from day one, even driving away from the SAAB dealer! There are 2 sets of records divided up by East Coast Dealer Maintenance and Mechanical Work, and when they moved to Nebraska the Mechanical Work And Service. Besides the inside and outside looking great these people, husband and wife took the car in anytime even the littlest thing wasn’t correct or there was a funny noise. All of this is well documented in the service history which goes with the car. The owners drove the car 1500mi back and forth to Nebraska from MA- that is where you have a lot of the miles(Highway). Other than that it was roughly 2000-3000 per year once they relocated to Nebraska. This is documented as well and can be found in the documentation that comes with the car. This car drives excellent! But what is even more spectacular with this car is it was consistently driven and maintained. So unlike many great cars that have been siting and thus have problems once you start driving them, this one has been meticulously maintained its entire life while being minimally driven. The reason for the sale of the car is the wife, who is the driver of the car developed Alzheimer’s and is unable to drive it. So instead of letting it sit they sold it. If you buy this car you could easily fly in and drive anywhere and I completely stand by that and I never state that but this car is just that good. The interior is excellent and the cloth seats front and back show little or no wear. The cloth is nice because the leather splits and cannot be replaced unless you have a lot of money to burn, the cushions are still firm like new. The dash gauges, vents, knobs show NO WEAR. Since the headliner was replaces that is just like new too. The glove compartment cover looks new which is almost unheard of! Outside paint is a rare dark metallic green really nice condition. That being said the car is in excellent shape for 20yrs old- as the outside is not perfect and it is not 100 percent rust free as no cars are at this age however that being said for 99 percent of the SAAB 900's this one is better than them. Basically this car has been lovingly driven and meticulously taken care of. It is not perfect it is a 93 but it is a rare opportunity if you like the classic SAAB 900S.
