1972 Triumph Daytona

Very nice Triumph Daytona with new tires and carburetor (original 626 sleeved carbs, filters and manifolds included with sale). Speedo and Tach in working order. Odometer is working but trip does not. Boyer ignition and electronic regulator. Nice recovered seat. Forks were renovated with new stanchions, seals, boots and handlebar grips. Steering bearings, swingarm bushes, chains sprockets and clutch are all in good condition. Starts easy and runs well. There is no smoking from the engine, there are no leaks and it is mechanically quiet. Chrome is in fair shape for its age but has minor pitting in some areas. Damage to paint at rear of tank was from faulty petcock. Tank has been checked for leaks. The turn signals and horn are missing, although the switchgear is there. This motorcycle has matching frame and engine VIN and was rebuilt by Brian Holzigal of British American in Atlanta GA from a well cared for machine. It was not assembled from bits. The cases were properly cleaned during the rebuild (not sand blasted) so they retain their original sheen. I have many motorcycles and this one does not get much use. Selling to buy parts for other projects. International buyers will be responsible for all transportation arrangements and shipping costs, including any applicable duties or fee's.
