Vehicle Description The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) in Albany, NY is selling some of its’ used buses. CDTA is a public authority, and operates bus service in Albany, Rensselaer, Saratoga & Schenectady counties in upstate New York. This bus was used in transit service. Bus number – t77 VIN Number – 3B6MF36602M309792 Make/Model/Year – 2002 DODGE 3500 Passenger Seating Capacity - 2 Mileage of vehicle – 106,775 Description Vehicle is being sold “as is,” and CDTA makes no guarantees about the condition or drivability of the vehicle. Vehicle as an aluminum & steel exterior, and weighs 27,600 lbs per the vehicle title The reserve price for this vehicle is set at $1,000. Transmission defective slips, front suspension needs work ball joints etc. exhaust rotted, brakes hang up, engine oil leak, body rusted, rear body rusted at the frame not secured. All decals will always be spray painted over for security purposes. Vehicle Pickup Due to security issues, the following criteria must be followed – NO EXCEPTIONS -All winning bidders who wish to enter CDTA property must sign in and present a valid photo ID -All winning bidders who wish to enter CDTA must be accompanied by a CDTA staff member at all times -No work may be done on the bus on CDTA property. CDTA’s mechanics will not be available to charge the batteries, replace flat tires, etc. -Vehicle must be towed. There can be no attempts to drive the vehicle off the lot, even if it runs perfectly. -Once the vehicle is off of CDTA’s property, it cannot be brought back on. Availability Vehicle pickup must be made between 9:00am and 3:00pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. CDTA requires 24 business hours notice before pickup. CDTA stores buses in 3 locations. This vehicle is stored at CDTA’s Albany location: 110 Watervliet Avenue Albany, NY 12206 Vehicle must be paid for within 7 days of winning auction and must be removed from our property (at buyers expense) within 21 days of winning auction. New York State buyers must pay 8% sales tax on this purchase. Tax-exempt buyers must present valid tax-exemption paperwork (resale certificate, tax-exempt form, etc.) Buyer must provide 24 business hours notice, with approval by CDTA, prior to vehicle pick up. CDTA accepts Cash-in Person, Certified Bank Checks, Money Orders, and Paypal ONLY. Note – Prior to vehicle removal, winning bidder will be required to sign a bill of sale, in order for CDTA to track its' disposal of surplus vehicles. CDTA requires the winning bidder’s name, company (should the vehicle be purchased for a company) address, and phone number. A sample bill of sale is available upon request. The bill of sale must be signed by the winning bidder before payment is made, as a copy of the signed bill of sale is required by CDTA’s treasury department in order to issue a receipt for the vehicle payment.
