Up for your consideration is this low mileage well cared for 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa dressed in a nice dark blue with blue interior color. This car has been well maintained throughout it's life of 28 years. Most of the time this car was in the Connecticut region. I am unaware for how long or where it's original delivery location was. It then ended up in Maryland for a short period of time until I purchased the car there in 2007. You would not know this is a car which has been in the northeast as there is no rust, and I have been properly storing the car in the winter months. The engine, a 3.2 liter 200Hp 185ft.lb. H6 runs smooth and does not burn any oil, there are no fluid leaks coming from the drivetrain anywhere. The 5 speed transmission goes through the gears well with no unusual noises. The fuel & brake lines are in good condition,as well as the fuel tank. Brakes are all in good condition and function well. The interior dash cover will need some work, the dash as shown in the pictures has a couple cracks in the notorious locations near the defrost vent. Seats front & rear are in great shape with minimal wear. Door cards, door pulls, carpet, instrument cluster and targa interior roof is all in good shape and show very well with minimal wear with the exception of a map pocket on the drivers door missing. In case you get caught in some bad weather the targa roof does not leak and fits perfectly. Windows go up and down perfectly. All electrics are functioning normally as they should. The exterior paint is in good condition, there has been some past paint work from previous owners. In 2012 it was backed into and I had to have some work done to the rear of the car. The damage was mainly to the left quarter panel and left tailight assembly, it was a very light hit as it happened in a parking lot. The tires have approximately 10000 miles on them and have plenty of tread left. The car drives very well with no pulling or any unusual noises.Car cover & service manual included 911 prices are climbing this will definitely be a desirable collectible.
