Vehicle Detail

This is the extremely rare find you have been looking for... 1968 is the year Ford made the fewest convertible mustangs, and they also made the fewest in this color. Here is a link to the current VIN report stating ONE OWNER and ACTUAL MILES! https://services.flhsmv.gov/MVCheckWeb/InquiryView.aspx/ Here is a link to a video of the car driving. http://youtu.be/Ap9lDXsCj1Y Here is a link to a video of the top going up and down quicker than my new mustang.http://youtu.be/R2brkVqAtNw Here is a link to a video of the engine starting and revving.http://youtu.be/nDBpePp3AmA It has the original OWNER'S MANUAL, trunk liner, jack, and the ORIGINAL SPARE! It even has the instruction sticker for changing the tire on the trunk lid, as well as the maintenance instruction sticker under the hood. Just about everything except the paint has been RESTORED THIS YEAR! The engine was rebuilt including a new carburetor, new transmission, new fuel pump, new battery, new cables, new belts, new brakes and new hardware, new master cylinder, new steel brake lines, new exhaust, new muffler, new tie rods, new upper and lower ball joints, new freeze plugs, new pitman arm, new starter, new tires, new convertible top, new interior...door panels, kick panels, quarter panels, seats (not just covers, actual seats, high quality and comfortable) new carpet, and the list goes on and on... This car runs and drives perfectly. I would be completely comfortable letting someone drive this car home to California from here (Florida.) It is tight, with no rattles or squeaks or any of the other noises and issues you may expect with an older car. All of the molding is there so the doors shut quietly and the windows seal nicely. Everything seems to work just as it should. The headlights, tail lights, and turn signals work properly. It has the cool turn signal indicator lights in the hood also. All of the gauges work properly, and even the dome lights. It runs very smoothly and seems to get about 25mpg. If you want an awesome classic car you can actually drive, this is it because the inline 6 gets good gas mileage. The only thing left to do is paint it. I decided to list it before painting it because some people want it all original, while some may want to change the color. The paint is very old and faded and there are scratches. There are a couple small rust spots, but they are small and hardly noticeable as you can tell by the pictures. The frame has little to no rust. The floor pans are solid, and the entire under carriage has been coated and looks great. I encourage any and all buyers to come see and drive the car for yourself before bidding. The car is for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end this auction anytime. I have done my best to give a complete and accurate description of the vehicle. I have put as many high resolution pictures as they will let me here. Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

None of the pictures are photoshopped or altered in any way. --The picture of "the blue gear thingy" is not a damaged part... it is the transmission. I loosened the starter and took a picture to show the brand new transmission. --I took a picture of the numbers plate, but Ebay won't allow me to add any more pictures so I will include this link and hope it works. The numbers all match and correspond correctly to their designated codes. For example: the 76A means it's a convertible. The 2A means the car is supposed to have Black Vinyl interior. Y is the paint code for Sunlit Gold. 15A means it was built January 15th, 1968 etc..... --I will assist with shipping within reason. I live in Central Florida and have no problem driving the car to a shipping company or airport within 100 miles. Feel free to email with any other questions you may have. Thanks for your interest and good luck bidding.
