Vehicle Detail

TUNED UP AND RUNNING STRONG!!! I had it over 80MPH the other day and it was really strong! Brown 1972 Triumph TR6 that had been sitting in storage for most of its life. Here is a list of the things I have done to it in the past 3 months: ***I just replaced the old clutch (which was date stamped 1980) with a brand new LUK 3 piece clutch kit, new ABS transmission tunnel cover, new rear oil seal in transmission, and I also had the flywheel re-machined. It made an AMAZING difference.*** Reinforced front differential mounts with the proper Moss Motors reinforcement kit (Common problem with the TR6) Replaced all seals in differential and refilled New rear diff mounts New Rear spring pad mounts New universal joints all around New clutch master and slave cylinder + Flush New tie rod ends and ball joints (i have not aligned it yet but it handles pretty tight. It will need to be aligned before driving any great distances) New engine and transmission mounts New U joints all the way around New upper A-Arm bushings New Steering rack mounts Adjusted Valves New Goodyear Eagle GT 205/65/15 tires New front rotors and pads + brake flush New front shocks Removed vacuum retard unit and replaced with advance unit Bypassed emissions equipment that was not working anyway (performance boost) New wires, plugs, rotor Electronic ignition New Robbins Tan top with zip out rear window (VERY NICE) I am advertising this car exactly as it is and selling it as-is. It has been garaged for most of its life and you can see that by looking underneath. No rust through anywhere. I pulled out the battery to inspect underneath for rust through. There is some surface rust but no rust through under the battery! Amazing! Also, The steering wheel will clearly need to be reset ( see photos. steering wheel looks to be turned and front tires are straight) but this will be taken care of when the car is aligned by the new happy owner! I have tonneau cover and convertable top boot. Over 18K invested between purchase price, mechanicals, + paint to get this car to where it is now. This is the perfect car for someone who wants a great driver but still wants to do a little tinkering. A few things the car could use: Tightening of steering column New carpet set + interior door panels inner and outer window waist seals Front end alignment (since I replaced most of the front suspension, an alignment is needed) Radio console support needs to be bolted in (its loose right now.) One of the rear brake cylinders is leaking. Cheap and can be easily replaced. The fuel sending unit reads empty when there is about 1/2 tank left. I have a new fuel sending unit along with misc. parts and a bentley manual that I will include with the sale. Clean title. Car sold as-is with no warrantee. Please dont bid if you cant pay. Thanks!
