Triumph Bobber, 1965 frame with 1972 TR6 motor. The frame has a +2" hardtail welded and bolted on with a 1970 Triumph front end with twin leading shoe brake. Also fitted are vintage, chrome fork covers, chrome hex oil tank, front fender on rear, and shorty mufflers on stock header pipes. The bike also has a new solo seat. The engine is from a 1971 TR6R and has been completely disassembled, cleaned and inspected. The crank sludge trap has been cleaned out and the cylinders were given a light hone and new rings fitted. The head has new guides and the valve seats have been cut to suit. It has a new Amal carburetor, Boyer electronic ignition and solid state regulator. Starts easy, no smoke, no significant leaks, runs strong. This bike was built for riding and fun and I have resurrected it for the same purpose. The "title" consists of a signed, open New York registration which is accepted in lieu of a title at DMVs. Shipping is up to the purchasing individual, however I will assist with arrangements, within reason. Payment of a $500. deposit is required with in 48 hours of auction end. Balance is due via cash, in person, or a Cashiers Check. Cashiers Check payment subject to delay for clearing. Other options may be considered but CHECK with me first.
