*PLEASE DO NOT BID IF YOU ARE NOT A SERIOUS BIDDER !!!* 1969 Plymouth GTX 440 /375HP, original floor console car, low miles, matching numbers !! Here is a rare opportunity!!!!! THIS GTX is The REAL DEAL. NOT A CLONE! LOW RESERVE ! Up for sale is my 1969 Plymouth GTX show car, with all original matching numbers 440 engine and original 727 torqueflight auto transmission. I am the second owner of this GTX ! VIN # RS23L90174686. Excellent restoration and meticulously finished. The majority of my car is ORIGINAL. Alot of the original parts on my GTX are restored and preserved on the car (instead of replacing with aftermarket parts). My GTX was garaged most of its life and very well preserved even before restoration. For example, the parts that I did replace on my GTX (due to minor pitting) such as outer door handles , I have kept and stored away in my garage, and are all included in this auction with the sale of my GTX. Body- Beatifully restored body and extremely straight, with fantastic paint job! I get attention, waves, people honking, people taking pics with their camera phones, and tons of compliments where ever I go in my GTX!!! If you don't like attention......DO NOT buy my car!! Body, frame, trunk, floorpans all 100% SOLID! The Undercarriage of my GTX (see pics listed ) shows clean solid painted METAL! Not full of undercoater hiding rust. All the body numbers match on the radiator support, engine block, transmission, fender tag, and the VIN tag. (one pic I have listed shows vin number stamped on transmission which coincides with engine block stamping and VIN on dash). Gas tank is new. Replaced gas tank mainly to ensure that the fuel is clean before running into freshly rebuilt carb. Even the Radiator has been re-cored ( to ensure a perfect working cooling system). . Fender tag intact on car. My GTX is ready to go to any car show. Drivetrain- Original 440 High performance engine/375 HP; 727 torqueflight auto transmission Original 8 ¾ rearend Engine and transmission have had thorough professional maintenance, tune up, new seals and gaskets, and completely gone through. Engine runs strong!!! Like new. Engine block number/stamping (located on top of engine near firewall) matchs car’s vin number . Transmission shifts perfectly!!! Carter AVS 4 barrel carb is original and professionally rebuilt/restored. . Car runs and drives EXCELLENT! Fun to drive and is a very FAST car! This GTX is so road worthy, you could drive this car across the entire country! Also, as you can see in engine bay pic, my air cleaner is also original along with original air cleaner lid “wingnut” . Windshield wiper fluid reservoir is original ( a little faded and dirty, but original). Original decal on radiator support. In essence, my car has been in good caring hands since the day it was purchased brand new in 1969! Unlike a lot of older muscle cars, some teenager never got ahold of this car and started doing modifications to it and tearing the car apart! Interior- The black interior is restored to immaculate condition! original thumbwheel AM radio original center floor console (of which console lights and shifter pattern light all work). original steering wheel original and complete seat belts throughout All lighting works as it should such as dome light, courtesy lights , dash lights, taillights, break lights, head lights, and even hazard lights work! All gauges and instruments in dash work excellent as well as the tachometer works perfect! Battery is new. Weatherstrips are new. Exterior chrome/trim- All exterior trim /window trim is factory original and in excellent condition!!!!! Exterior door handles are new (original door handles had some minor pitting) Rear bumper is new (original bumper had some light pitting. I still have the original bumper stored in my garage which is included in the sale of my GTX). GLASS- Front windshield is new ( was replaced when windshield gasket was replaced ). Rest of the glass throughout GTX is original and in excellent condition. Wheels- 14 inch original magnum 500 wheels Tires- BF Goodrich Silvertown Redline tires ( very low miles on tires). Trunk- inside the trunk has the original factory bumper jack/ jack handle/ spare tire hold down and is all intact in the trunk along with the spare tire and new rubber trunk mat. Odometer- 64,027 actual miles I have a clean and clear title to my GTX. Absolutely NO ZERO feedback bidders. I will cancel your bid.
