I have my Jeep for sale locally and reserve the right to end this auction at any time. 1997 Jeep TJ Wrangler 4.0L 6 cylinder engine with only 95K miles. Oil was changed religiously every 3000 miles with Mobil One. Automatic Transmission – Shifts great 4X4 Hard Top Hard Doors A/CCruise This is a decent Jeep with a great interior and body for its age. There are a few issues that would be present on any 16 year old vehicle. It has a dent under the driver side door; the frame and bottom side (underneath) of the body are rusty from all the salty Michigan winters, and could use patching in a couple areas due to holes, mainly in front of the rear wheels and the passenger side front control arm area, this is a common occurrence for a Michigan TJ and Quadratech makes really nice patch kits for these areas. It does drive pretty well, given these issues. The exterior body is actually in pretty good shape compared to some of the other ones I have seen, usually the tail gate and rear corners are rusted but this one is good. There is a dent on the top of the grill and the windshield is showing some rust around the window trim (quite common). This would be a good starting base for a Jeep project build and what I intended to do with it, but I no longer have the time. I have not seen one of these Jeeps sell for under $4,500 which is why I have set the buy it now under this mark with the hope that someone will jump on it right away and I can move on with my next project idea.
