I know I will regret listing this bike once it is gone, but financial restraints force the sale of this T20M. I had ridden this bike as a daily city thumper, as a story-teller bike for those who remember when they first made their way to the states. The motorcycle currently cannot be ridden and will require minimal work, hence the no reserve. It kicks over, runs choppily before bogging down. The timing is definitely off and I just don't have the time to continue with it. I must reiterate that it does kick over, it does start, and this is a project that is 80% complete and I will provide you with everything necessary (and new) to get it back to daily riding or weekend adventure. This would also make a great restoration candidate as it is not overly molested, with the only cosmetic modification being straight bars. Original paint, less than 3700 original miles, minor cosmetic scrapes on the tank, some scratches on the pea-shooter, very, very minimal rust under rear fender and virtually none elsewhere. 8 gallons or 11.92 litres capacity. This was necessary when we converted the motorcycle to the 12-v system from the 6-v (T20M does not utilize a battery). 2) Front fork gaiters are cracked and peeling 3) Points need to be set and timing adjusted 4) Needs carb rebuild (not immediate) 5) Slight head leak The extras (in packaging) to get you started on the work needed: 1) I will provide a brand new wiring harness for the motorcycle straight from BritCycle 2) I will provide two sets of brand new front boots 3) New points plate provided from BritCycle 4) Amal monobloc carb rebuild kit (new) provided AND a brand new Amal concentric carb 5) New head gaskets Every piece of literature I could find on the Triumph Cub T20M model including a printed version of the Triumph Cub Bible. Shipping: Buyers will pay shipping costs. For buyers within 300 miles of Portland, Oregon I will deliver the bike for $0.40/mile. For less than local buyers, I will transport the motorcycle up to 1,000 miles for the price of $0.55/mile. If you would prefer, I will be available to supervise the loading of the motorcycle by an inter-state carrier of your choice. For international buyers, I will provide the option of transporting the bike to a loading dock of the shipping service of your choice. Or, I will make myself available to watch a courier service load the motorcycle for transport. I will be as available as necessary to ensure you get your motorcycle safe and sound. I also have researched many int'l shipping agencies and can provide you with links necessary to find the best rate. Please be mindful of duty and tax. For example, a shipment from Portland, Oregon to Norfolk, UK is ~$830USD with a $200 insurance surcharge and $648GBP in duty charges. Please be aware of these costs before bidding internationally.
