Up for auction is a 1990 Chevrolet Suburban 4X4. This is the early body style that weighs approx 5,300 pounds and is EXCELLENT FOR TOWING the largest of trailers. I bought it specifically to tow a 32' Streamline and it towed like a dream. I've also towed camping trailers, tree chippers, toy haulers, and a 16X8 flatbed with this workhorse. If you have any kind of large trailer to tow, this is the truck for you! The streamline I no longer own, so this has been sitting in my storage which I must now clear out, so here we are on the auction block. Buyer must pay delinquent registration fees, it has been stored since 2009 and started regularly to keep the engine fresh. Back registration will run several hundred dollars, consider this before you bid! The engine has pretty high miles but runs strong and doesn't knock or burn excessive oil. I have run synthetic oil and Genuine GM oil filters in the years I have owned it. This truck is equipped with the third row seat option, so it seats 8 adults comfortably! Great for family vacations or a big work crew. Has good pad life left on the brakes and good thick tread on all 4 tires. A/C works. It is equipped with rear A/C though it could use a new rear fan motor, it gets noisy. Has power door locks and windows that work, some with more enthusiasm than others. This is approaching 25 years old, it's not a new truck for under $2000 so just be realistic in your expectations. The 4 wheel drive system works well, I took it to the desert prospecting, and it did well on steep slippery terrain. Buy this truck if you want to rock Gorman, Glamis, or Azusa Canyon! This Suburban isn't in "clean garaged" condition. It once had a great custom paint job, but the ravages of Los Angeles sun have peeled most of the clearcoat. There are some rust spots in the passenger roof area. The inside can use a good shampooing. It was used by a mechanic as a work and utility, and camping truck and is ready to go for this kind of use. The truck is parked in Bellflower, California near the 91 freeway. PRE-BID INSPECTION IS WELCOME AND ENCOURAGED! Once the gavel falls, it sells to the highest bidder as is- where is.
