Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE *******'88 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO SS This is a very clean Monte Carlo 88. The body on this car is very straight and the interior is real clean. The car is NOT one of those extremely used and abused versions of these highly collectible cars. Unfortunately most of the Monte Carlo SS cars you will see are not in even moderate condition nowadays. This is not one of those. It is extremely clean. You can see it in the pictures. The body and paint are very nice. Interior is very very clean. The car has no rust. This car has custom dual exhaust and sounds right. It has 350 V8 under the hood and comes with much more horse power than the original 305. But look at the engine bay and you will see that it still looks all original. It passed the smog in CA and that says a lot. Another favorable feature is the fact that shifter is on center console instead of on the column. No t-tops and no t-top leak potential. Also it looks much more sleaker and color coordinated without t-tops. The dash has a small rip/crack easy to fix. The odometer reads 36K, the condition of the car supports that but I cannot guarantee. On the other hand, this is an exceptionally clean car that runs and drives very well. White color in my opinion is the best for this car, it shows the lines of the car much better than any other color. The fact that this is the last year of this body style makes this car even more collectible. The Monte Carlo was discontinued in 1988 but brought back to life in 1995. The 1988 model-year included two trim levels, the LS sport and the SS sport, with 16,204 SS models produced that year at a price of $14,320. The collectibility and value of these cars are on the rise. The Monte Carlo SS has two doors and stands 54.90 inches high, 202.40 inches long and 71.80 inches wide, with a 108-inch wheelbase. This is a comfortable car with room for all body types. Its curb weight is 3,239 pounds. It has a turning diameter of 37.10 feet. It is easy to operate and it is very responsive. The Monte Carlo SS can accommodate up to six passengers. No one will feel cramped in this car. There is enough room in the back as well. In the front, there are 37.90 inches of headroom, 42.80 inches of legroom, 56.30 inches of shoulder room and 51.70 inches of hip room. Rear passengers enjoy 38.10 inches of headroom, 36.30 inches of legroom, 55.90 inches of shoulder room and 54.90 inches of hip room. The Monte Carlo also provides 16 cubic feet of luggage space. The car rides on 215/65R15 tires. This is a Modern Classic that is rising in value every passing day. This is a very cool car with a power to go with that and it is easy to drive and use on a daily basis, it is comfortable and unique and already a collectible. A small caviat: deposit is non-refundable under any circumstances if you do not complete the purcahse for any reason. I am advertising the car in other media and I reserve the right to end the auction or sell the car privately. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE MONEY IN HAND BEFORE BIDDING AND ALSO YOU HAVE YOUR WIFE'S OR MAMA'S PERMISSION. THE LAST GUY DID NOT AND WASTED MY TIME. Thanks.
