This vehicle was involved in high waters of Hurricane Sandy. The paperwork is filled out with "not actual miles" as the auction we purchased it from is not allowed to test these type vehicles to get the miles. Although this Outback does have only 34,141 miles. It will have to pass a salvage inspection before being able to be put on the road. Please read our description below. All of our project cars are sold "as is" with no warranty expressed or implied. There is no way to determine exactly what a vehicle needs to bring it back until one gets into the actual project of repairing it so please understand that our description very well may not and probably won't list everything that needs to be done. Now as to this vehicle: exterior - The vehicle has scratches to both bumper covers Also, the is moisture in the headlights. All the rims and glass are in excellent condition besides one rim has surface scratches and the left rear door glass is broke. The matching tires are Continental ContiProContact (225/60/17) all having about 50% tread remaining. In addition, we were unable to open the trunk. drive train - The vehicle is in non-running condition. We jumped the starter and the vehicle turns over nicely but will not start. We believe the it needs a body control module(BCM) and possibly more. interior- The interior can use a light clean. The The power locks/windows and stereo/climate unit are inoperative. Also, the right side of the rear seat will not lock into the seated position. A 10% deposit of the final price is due within three days of the close of the auction. The balance due is required within 7 days from the close of the auction and must be in the form of a bank wire transfer or cashiers check. By law, tax must be collected from New York State residents. Regency Motors reserves the right to close an auction at any time. We welcome all interested parties to come and inspect the car.
