The City of Lansing Kansas is offering for auction a 2006 Dodge Police Vehicle. This vehicle was used as a patrol vehicle and was purchased new by the city in 2006. This car has scratches and dings consistent with most police fleet vehicles. Roof does have a hole from light-bar wiring. The “POLICE” graphics have been removed, but some adhesive residue remains on the car. Adhesive remover will take care of the remaining residue. Some of the stripes remain, and will not be removed by the seller. This car has had previous repair work done to the driver’s side, and some of the clear has pealed when removing the decals (rear quarter panel). This vehicle has been taken out of police service due to intermittent stalling. Dodge mechanics report/advise there is a loss of communication issue. The source has not been located. I have driven this car recently around the City of Lansing for short durations and distances. The issues have not occurred. The car was slow starting and may need a battery, but did start every time and never stalled.
