Beautifully restored 1985 CJ-7!! So much to list. I will try to be as thorough as possible… Story goes, this jeep was a frame up restoration that I poured a lot of money into with NO expense spared. Many parts were from the Quadratec Jeep catalog. The project completed in spring 2008 and has approx. 6200 miles since restoration was completed. I only use the Jeep sometimes in the summer months and store it otherwise, it has never seen salt or snow, never. Nice grey soft top with doors and a bikini top both come with the truck sale. ***************************************************************************************************** * Jeep has a new Steel tub, tailgate, and window frame/glass. * Custom paint job, cost was $4800. Color is Hot Hues Red Scarlet Fever. There's a small spot where a minor rust bubble popped up since then, as shown in photo. * Stripped chassis/frame to metal, rustproofed and applied POR-15 and top coated with heavy duty Herculiner. The Jeep has no rust issues. * Installed a new Chevy V-8 Deluxe Crate Motor, 350/330HP. Purchased from Summit Racing, the motor cost me $3,600, plus $800 install. * New aluminum radiator with built-in trans. cooler and electric fan, plus all related engine parts are brand new, i.e., power steering pump, alternator, etc. * There is more stuff not listed here but know that almost every part on this jeep was replaced as brand new. I spent alot of money here, since I wanted only the best quality for my Jeep resto. and I had the cash at the time to do so.
