Vehicle Detail
1975 Honda CB750F SuperSport, completely restored mechanically and converted to a café racer. Features include a double disk front brake with the calipers relocated to the rear of the fork legs (these bikes only came with one front disk), rebuilt calipers and master cylinder, braided stainless steel brake lines, three drilled brake rotors, all new bearings and seals including a tapered roller bearing headset, new Dunlop D404 tires on Morris alloy wheels, used on many factory race bikes in the 70s, and a sportier and lighter front fender from the next generation (’79-’82) CB750F. It has electronic ignition, pod air filters, a rebuilt clutch, and a gold DID O-Ring chain, and the gauges were refaced in white, with a matching clock. The F model CB750 had a different cam and is much stronger than the standard K model, and this one starts instantly, runs perfectly and handles beautifully, and could easily be ridden across the country right now. The exhaust system has a throaty, not too loud sound, and stainless steel socket head bolts were used throughout the bike during the rebuild. It has sparkling silver metallic paintwork, done up in 70s style, replicating Norton racebikes of the 50s and 60s, with a unique seat cowl made from a handbuilt custom fuel tank, and a removable centerstand for servicing and cleaning. This bike looks like a racebike from the ‘70s, but is actually a very sweet, modern feeling streetbike. I make bikes to ride, not display in shows, but this one will be a hit on bike night, and you won't need a trailer to get it there! Transportation may be arranged if the winning bidder lives within a day’s drive (600 miles or so) of my home in southern New Hampshire.
