Vehicle Detail
Hello; Today I have decided to sell my 1995 Corvette with 82,667 miles. I have owned this Corvette for roughly five years and I have put an estimated 50,000 miles on it since I bought it. The car is powered by the LT-1 engine which produces 300HP and 340 FT LBS of torque accompanied by a ZF 6 speed transmission. This Corvette also features the ZR-1 inspired J55 Big Brake Kit with 13 inch rotors and FX3 ride control which allows you to change the stiffness of the suspension in three stages, Touring, Sport, and Performance. From 1989 to 1995 only a little over 35,000 Corvettes came equipped with this. The rear end of the car is a Dana 44 with 3.73 gears. The car originally came with the stock saw-blade wheels, after some time I decided to change them to black A-mold wheels. The wheels are 17x9.5 in the front with a 30mm offset and the rear wheels are 17x11 with a 57mm offset. My reasoning behind this sell is to pay off a good portion of my student loans. This is not a show car and it does have it's issues, being an eighteen year old car, it is to be expected. I will be completely honest with you. I am now going to list some of the issues this car has. The car has an oil leak and from my observation it is coming from the intake manifold. The CD player doesn't work. The antenna doesn't go up or down but you can still listen to the radio. The cruise control does not work. You can hear the T/O bearing from the clutch. It has been that way since I bought it and the clutch has plenty of life left in it for I never ragged or raced the car. The car could use a set of rear shocks. The paint is very nice in most areas, however there are areas such as the front bumper, where the clear coat has been damaged. There are also paint chips from rocks in the lower panels of the car. The paint on the hood has a crack in it as well. The lower portion of the driver side seat needs to be reworked for it is torn. There is a cigarette burn in the carpet next to the driver side seat. The car does not smell like smoke. If any other issues arise I will notify you. Now for some of the good stuff I have a very detailed maintenance record for this car. This record contains every repair, oil change, as well as preventative maintenance. I have every receipt for every part and have written down the date and milage parts were changed. Running off of memory here, some of the repairs I have conducted would be the, Weatherstripping, all of it. The clutch Master cylinder, Slave cylinder, Alternator, Battery, Opti-spark, Tune ups, Waterpump, New front tires. ***** Forgot to mention I replaced the Serpentine belt as well as the tie rod ends on the front of the car as well as replacing the emergency brake. I love this car, I have had it for a long time and am now looking to send her to a new home, a good home. The car isn't show quality but it is in nice condition for its age. Pictures don't do this car justice, once you see it and once you drive it, you'll fall in love too. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me and I will respond to the best of my ability. Buyer responsible for shipping.
