Up for sale is this very original California dry climate survivor 1960 Chevrolet Impala 4 door hardtop sports sedan. This Impala has been garage parked and last registered in 1979. 100% original paint with no rust and 100% original interior that is all there but does show it's age. This Impala was factory/dealer optioned with: 283 V8 engine, Powerglide automatic transmission, power brakes, power steering, EZ-Eye glass, padded dash, clock, and a push button radio. This Impala was started off of a gas can to check the engine, and it did run and sound good. The body is in very good condition and the paint (although showing some age) would shine up well with a little effort and have a great patina look to it. vehicle has been in the dry Central California area for most, if not all of it's life. Still has both original California black plates. Interior is all original and could be saved with a little time and thoughtful consideration. This Impala is rust free. No rust in the floors, trunk, quarters, fenders, hood, roof, etc. This is an all original survivor that with a little effort and time could be a very respectable vehicle for someones collection.
