We bought this Phaëton new for touring the wide open West with friends and family. And it has served us beyond our fondest expectations. Exterior still looks new and the interior Decor of hand-polished Burlewood and leather is totally unblemished. Mechanically, the car is perfect with all of its' many systems working. Most of the 36,000 miles on the vehicle have been for longer trips. We just haven't used it for running around town. Hand assembled in the Transparent Factory in Germany on a LWB Bentley chassis the vehicle has been a model of reliability. Designed to cruise 186 mph all day long while maintaining an interior temperature not exceeding 72° when the outside temperature is 122 Fahrenheit! Always serviced by Volkswagen the 40,000 mile maintenance was performed in May 2013 by a local Volkswagen agency.
