Vehicle Detail
Hi, you are looking at one of the coolest rigs I have acquired this year I really want the next owner to keep it in it's original configuration , as a cement truck. The truck is in very good , survivor , condition. If you are interested in this truck ,bid early , as I reserve the right to end this auction at any time of my choosing. I will be contacting local ready mix plants to trade this for flatwork I need around my shops. if there are bids , I will honor the auction and let it run it's full course, if you wait too long and the listing is pulled , you cannot blame me because you did not bid. This is probably the only one of these trucks you will EVER see. So , act soon , this is as rare as elephant feathers I have the title , but, it has been signed over so much , it is a mess and I will acquire a new one. I tried for many hours to move the engine , It is stuck , stuck. I pulled the head and found the rear cylinder was rusted and cracked . The engine could be sleeved , but, a complete replacement would be the better option.I wish I had the inline , flat six it needs . I do have a few flathead v8s, but the six has an updraft carb , and that carburetion keeps the floor , doghouse , low . So, I would have to revamp a higher doghouse to install an overhead carb engine . The reemainder of the drivetrain seems to be functional. This rig is just cool as Hell!!! it is only 15 feet from the front bumper to the rear ladder . Only a bit less than ten feet tall (and bulletproof???)and just over six feet wide. This is amazingly complete , even has the troughs for pouring . the tub is six feet across and eight feet long (maybe 1.5 - 2 cubic yards) Pleas feel free to ask lotsa questions , but, please ask over the phone. call Joe @ 406-59l- 9O9O between 7 am and 8 pm mountain standard time . AND please feel free to read "about me" and my 100% positive feedback. Know who you are dealing with!!! PS: I have 4 other COEs (see pics)and 65 other classics and project cars earlier than 1972 , I will be starting to list here On Jul-16-13 at 05:59:31 PDT, seller added the following information: I have removed the reserve , the next bid will remove the reserve of $2125 , good luck, I really want stay in touch with the new owner ,to see the progress and the project when it's completed. I have 65 other cars between 1917 and 1972, and I am just a one man operation, and I only have a 7 foot door on my workshop, so I cannot give this the attention it deserves, Thanx again , Joe On Jul-16-13 at 17:35:59 PDT, seller added the following information: OK , so, I looked for an engine for this truck for three months , and , not finding one , decided to let one of you fine folks own this mixer . today is Tuesday , and I hauled in a 50 dump truck with the straight six I need for the originality of this truck, I put a battery in it , it turns over and sounds good , No spark, I have a coil and points /condenser at my other shop .(got drawers full of ignition parts from Model A thru the 70s) Anyway , at this time it is a rebuildable engine. I should have it running before 10 AM wednesday, I will post my progress , this will be part of the deal, your bid includes the engine.
