What you are looking at is a father/son project that was started in the 90’s. Then I went to college and it sat until last year. I completed some of the obvious things that were not done yet and now I am selling. I've got north of $18,000 parts in it. I am listing this with an opening bid of $10,000. Whatever the auction closes for is what it will sell for. This is not a fake listing just to see how much you are willing to pay. I’m an honest seller and this will be an honest transaction. There is no reserve. Don’t bid unless you really want to buy it. Too bad for me my garage will only hold one car and I have a new project to work on. Information in no particular order. First and foremost, I never bothered to title this vehicle. It does not yet have a VIN assigned to it. It is a waste for me to do it if the buyer is just going to turn it into a drag car. It is the buyer’s responsibility to title the vehicle if they wish to drive it on the street. Title requirements vary from state to state. Engine The rotating assembly is good for 1000hp. In its current form it probably makes 650hp at the flywheel. Chevrolet Performance BowTie Big block. 4.470 bore (502 cu in.) Casting number 10051107 Chevrolet Forged steel crank 4.00 stroke Pistons Wiseco forged Carrillo H beam rods with ARP bolts Aluminum Chevy heads from a 1971 corvette that were ported by the engine builder. Result compression is 9.5:1 Double roller timing chain, I don’t remember the brand High volume oil pump, I don’t remember the brand. It makes 50lbs at cold idle Dart Intake Lunati Cam lift .680intake .700 exhaust duration 260intake/270exhaust degrees at .050 Solid Roller lifters. I forget brand. Good ones. Probably Comp Cams Fresh/Untuned out of the box Holley 1050 Dominator Carb. 2 circuit Transmission Rebuilt Powerglide that was spec-ed out for this combo. It has no miles on it BUT, it doesn’t go into reverse. I don’t believe that it is an actual serious problem. It is a fresh rebuild with no miles. That said, buyer beware. Bid accordingly. I don’t remember what stall the converter is. It was spec-ed out to match the cam and the rear end gears. Rear end Narrowed 8 ¾ Chrysler Rebuilt 30 spline Chrysler posi Strange Axles. 4.30:1 gears Chassis Chassis built by Ron Showers of Danville PA. http://www.mycarpro.org/Auto-Supply/Ron-Showers-Auto-Weld-Chassis-Components/ Standard rectangular frame with Mustang II style front suspension and 4 link coilover rear suspension. Obviously the rear is shortened. What might not be obvious is that the area between the grill and the firewall has been lengthened by 4” 114” wheel base. Body Paint is obviously rough. It is a two stage basecoat/clearcoat that was never sanded and buffed. Over the year imperfections have shown up. Blemishes have been made and a nephew has run into it with a bicycle. I did my best to take good pictures to accurately show condition. The cab is an original 1934 Ford steel cab. Grill shell is a 1932 Ford fiberglass piece Grill itself is something we made out of aluminum stock All Fenders are fiberglass Bed is something that we made out of aluminum. Electrical Everything works, except the hazard/4way flashers and maybe the horn. The horn may be OK, I haven't looked too closely. There is some tightening up that must be done. The wires are loose under that dash Additional stuff Various small parts as shown in the photos Rear pair of DOT legal MT tires. The tires that are currently on the vehicle were only for mock up and are not DOT approved. Safety glass for all windows. Payment $500, non refundable deposit due within 24hours. I hate to ask for this, but I don’t want to deal with a trouble bidder. If you don’t make the deposit within 24 hours, I will either relist or make a second chance offer to another bidder. Upon payment via Cash or Cashier’s check I will immediately release the vehicle and a sales receipt. Upon payment via check I will release the vehicle and sales receipt after the payment has cleared and shows up in my account. I am willing to hold onto the vehicle for up to two weeks provided that the buyer has made the non refundable $500 deposit. If buyer has not completed transaction within two weeks, I will relist the vehicle. I’m not trying to be difficult, but I don’t want to be left holding the vehicle for weeks on end while buyer attempts to come up with the money. Please don’t bid if you are not ready to pay. I’m am willing to be present for pickup by a vehicle support company.
