Relisting due to non-sale, Any of you 25 people who where watching now have a chance to bid on it. I only had one person make a super lowball offer on it after i even asked everyone not to insult me like like that....Yeah I need some cash but I'm not giving it away. I'm almost over my hurdle so if it doesn't sell this week i am keeping it. Bike has clean/clear title, Inspected until August 2014, New Tires, new air filter, new spark plugs, new fuel filter and all new fuel lines, carbs cleaned and gone through, fresh oil and filter, New aluminum turn signals. New heavy duty battery 220CCA. Fresh paint job on tank, subtank was flushed, blasted, and repainted. Bike runs great, no known motor or transmission problems. The only item on the bike that does not work is the tachometer. It is not repairable item. You could probably find a used one online. The built in coolant temp gage located in the tach DOES indeed work. The bike also has a new speedometer cable. Seats are in great shape. I really enjoy this bike and regret having to sell it. However, I have a medical debt to pay, so the bike has to go. As you can see in the pictures, It's not perfect but it's a good looking bike, nice lines, comfortable, easy to handle, plenty of pep. Maybe a good candidate for your woman??? Currently average 144 miles to the tank (safe to drive 120 miles and still have 20-25 miles left for reserve) getting between 43 and 48 MPG. I only use 93 ultra gas in this bike. Have no fears about obtaining parts for this 83, there are a lot of them hereon ebay and at really great prices. It's one of the reasons I purchased the bike. Many parts from the 84 and 85 VT700 will fit it also. No checks, PayPal or COD only. As with all my high value sales, any required deposits are non refundable and expire in 7 days. After which, if it is not paid in full, it may or may not be relisted for sale. No excuses accepted. Need this sold ASAP. This is my personal bike. I am a motorcycle mechanic and work at a reputable shop.
