This is a rare 1982 Triumph Bonneville 750 Royal which is a classic and a collector's item. This bike commemorates the royal wedding of Prince Charles and lady Diana .A rare opportunity to obtain a collectors' item in 95%+ original condition. This is a bike to ride since it has such great features to make it more civilized.This bike has a recent engine overhaul by a professional Triumph mechanic and he replaced all seals, pistons and cylinders(new std Hepolite's and brand new cylinders), valves, clutch assembly, replaced Bing carbs with Amal MK2's (tuned by the book), new battery, cables and rebuilt the brake system and new tach drive gearbox. Many other items replaced as felt it needed it after this bike was stored inside for over 10 years. No expense spared!Please look at all the pictures I just took so you can see the awesome condition. The seat is in excellent condition and is original as are things like the mirrors, grips, frame paint, chrome and nuts and bolts. Also has the factory Lucas electronic ignition .The electrics are in very original condition and as you can see in the pictures,this is a very neat motorcycle with everything in it's place.Excellent trans and clutch, brakes work great and so does the suspension system. As far as oil leaks, none except for a couple of nuts on the sump filter which is probably just the copper washers needing replacing upon changing the oil. Could use some new tires and was going to do this except I figured the new owner might like to choose his own brand. Has the original size and K81 Dunlops that were probably installed by the second owner in 2002. You will get 2 bills of sales from 1983 and 2002 (plus this one) and a picture of the second owner proudly standing in front of British USA in S. Houston and many reciepts and paperwork. Also the original Bing carbs are yours with the original filter boxes and choke system.Many oter misc parts also are included. This bike is registered in my name with a Texas Tittle and has a recent safety inspection. Also it is a collectible classic that you don't have to baby so much like the silver Royal edition that there were only 125 made! So what if it's not a 68 Bonney! They cost twice what this does plus if you want to ride, you'd be better off on this one because of the newer features and safety of the triple disc brakes. Still has the look and sound of that early classic, a lot of similarities Save the 650 for around town and use this one for the highway with it's 5 speed and Lester mag wheels.
