This is a 1976 BMW R75/6. This is an original paint matching numbers bike. I found it at an old bike repair shop. The shop did not know how to tune/adjust an airhead so had left it untouched for some time. A simple valve lash adjustment and carb cleaning/adjustment had it started and running just fine. Bike has Reynolds ride-off stand. This odometer shows 37462 miles, but with the way 70's BMW odometers go berserk I am stating that this is an unknown mileage motorcycle. The bike is missing the mirrors. The right petcock will need rebuild or replacement. The tachometer is frozen and is missing the needle (it will need to be replaced). The tank has some scratches and dents but is repairable (normal for wear and tear for 37 year old bike). Some previous owner had drilled holes in one side cover and in the headlight shell for switches that at one time ran something (both holes are repairable). Tires have good tread but I don't know how old they are. $500.00 payment thru paypal within 24 hours of auction close. Balance payable in Cash at time of pickup.
