You are bidding on a 1980 Ford Fiesta . I bought this car well looking for one to turn into a Trackday / Hillclimb car. When I went to pick it up I ended up buying another Fiesta that had already been transformed into what I wanted. He had numerous other 1977,1978 and 1979 Fiestas. He is a SCCA racer and had picked this one up for a clean spare body. I drove it home over 100 miles without problem. I freed up the Ebrakes, Changed the oil and gave it a well needed cleaning. I registered it this year and have driven without any problems. It has been stored inside in my garage since I bought it. I have tried to take pics of any major issues. But other then what you see the car is very solid. Much better then most Fiestas out there. What you would expect from a car with such low mileage. I myself have owned over 15 Mark 1 Fiesta’s over the years. When it was ordered it was Loaded with options! AC, Sunroof with matching color solid insert, Power Brakes, Rear Wiper and Sprayer, Tach , Rear Defroster and Wing Windows. It even still has its original Factory Tire and Spare. The engine runs strong though it needs the idle mixture plug pulled and for it to be adjusted. It runs a little rough and rich until it is warmed up. The Seats are the correct ones for a Ghia but were swapped out prior to my buying it. As shown in the pics they are dirty and with some tearing. The AC compressor spins fine and the belt is still attached, all the pieces are still there. but it does not blow cold air. The Tempo wheels were on it when I bought it and the Tires are in EXC condition. The console appears to be out of a Tempo as well and is only held in with 2 screws. The Body, I have tried to show any rust areas as well the major dents. One in the drivers frt fender looks worse in the pic then it really is. I pushed the rear quarter out myself in order to install the marker light and that one needs attention. There are little dings all around the car as well as scratches. I was told it sat in a driveway for years and it show’s. I think I have covered everything but feel free to ask questions. I want you to be happy with your purchase. I only check my emails once a day, but if you are serious about the car I can be reached on my cell after 2 pm during the week. I actually would prefer the buyer come see the car in person.
