Low mileage 1998 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra Convertible!!! Only 218 made!!!! Already a classic. The value has increased substantially in the last few years. Comes in red with saddle interior with leather seats, power windows, power locks, Mach 460 sound system. All original!!! 69k miles. 2 new rear tires with only 100 miles on them. Here is the kicker. The car needs a new head gasket on the driver side. The quoted price is approximately $2000-$2500. I am leaving for Okinawa for my next duty station on July 10th and therefore don't have time to get it repaired, or repair it myself. I could easily do it in a weekend but I currently work 7 days a week. I have a video I will post that shows the car running and the smoke from the tailpipe. The car can still be driven, but obviously you would not want to. The car was in a minor flood in 2009 with no ill effects. No insurance claim was filed at the time because there was little to no damage. Carfax and Autocheck are clean as a whistle and will be given to purchaser!!! The convertible top does not work currently and the drivers side power lock and power seat do not work (apparently this is common in this year). The car does have some minor issues as seen in the photos. Overall the car would rate about Fair, but because of the head gasket issue I am rating it as poor. In fair condition Kelley Blue Book puts the value at $16088. That would put the poor value (if there was one) probably about $12000. I need to quick sale and so I have adjusted the start price to do so. My loss is your gain!!!! A non-refundable deposit of $500 will be due 24 hrs after auction close or vehicle will be relisted. Full payment and pick up expected within 3 days of auction close or vehicle will be relisted as I am running out of time to sell it. The car needs repairs and the buyer is assuming cost of all necessary repairs to have a fully usable vehicle. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding because no refunds can be given!
