1957 Chevy Bel Air convertible project car. Car is rough and in multiple pieces, but the convertible specific parts are here. The dash panel / firewall has the VIN tag and trim tag still attached. Project includes a good solid 1957 Chevy convertible bare frame, firewall dash panel with convertible windshield frame, a good used convertible top frame, a rear tub / convertible top well. Buyer will also have their choice of a pair of doors, a pair of fenders, a hood, and a trunk lid. No suspension or drive train is included with this project. Remember, only a pair of doors, a pair of fenders, a single hood, and a single trunk lid are included with the project. All of the doors, fenders, and hoods shown are not all included. Buyer can choose which parts to include with the car. No assurances are made that any of these parts will be in good shape. This project is a lot of work, but the results will be a 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible. VIN is VC57J198732. Buyer (or buyer's designated agent) MUST pick up the vehicle and select the parts indicated above. Vehicle is located in North Alabama, in the Huntsville, AL area. Buyer is responsible for loading of parts for transport. Seller may be able to assist as seller is able to do so. Alabama does not title vehicles this old. Seller will provide buyer with a current vehicle registration, and a notorized bill of sale. This will allow the vehicle to be titled in other states. Seller recommends that potential buyers make arrangements to inspect this vehicle prior to bidding on it. A $500.00 deposit is required with 48 hours of auction end. Deposit will be made by Paypal. Not to worry, plenty of loose parts around the old farm.On Jun-26-13 at 03:50:13 PDT, seller added the following information: One question that has come up is the availability of convertible doors for this project. The answer is: I don't know if there are a set of convertible doors available. Buyer will have the option of looking over all of the doors, and selecting the pair of their choice. However, I cannot gaurantee that there are any convertible doors available. Sorry for the confusion.On Jun-29-13 at 11:35:02 PDT, seller added the following information: OK, I had a chance to go out to the farm and check the doors. I found 7 convertible doors (3 pair plus one extra). Not sure whether they are 55 - 56 or 57 except for the original doors from the black convertible. The only doors that have the trim on them are the original black doors, and they are badly rusted on the bottom. So, we will include the buyers choice of a pair of bare convertible doors, plus the original doors that have the trim on them.
