Very Nice, Rust Free California/Arizona 1962 Thunderbird Coupe. It has the 300HP 390 V-8 with an Automatic Transmission, Power Steering, Power Brakes and Cold A/C. The rare, Silver Mink Metallic Paint with a Raven Black roof shows very well. This has been a year long project with every wear item inspected, repaired or replaced as needed. Currently Driven and Garage Kept. Runs and Drives like new, with a Clean and Clear Arizona Title. Please read the whole auction and study the pictures before bidding. The Interior is in very good condition and features the Swing Away Steering Column. The Carpet, Dash Cap, Door Sills and Seat Covers have been replaced. The headliner, visors, and trim are also very nice. Custom bolt-on brackets using the factory holes were added to move the Power Drivers Seat back 3 inches for taller drivers. The Steering Wheel and Door Panels have been refurbished. Everything works: Power Windows, Factory AM Radio, Gauges, Switches, Lights, Turn Signals, Horn, Parking Brake with Warning Flasher, A/C & Heater, Wipers and Power Seat. The Paint and Body are in very nice condition and features the Sport Side Trim and Fender Skirts. This car has a straight body, with no rust or dents (no accidents). The Silver Mink Paint is new, the Raven Black was painted a couple years ago. The paint is not perfect it does have some minor imperfection. The roof has a couple small outward dings and some staining (may buff out) that doesn't show up in the pictures. All the chrome, and trim is original and shows some age, but overall in very good condition for it's age. Some of the original window and door seals are dried out and the some of the plastic emblem inserts are faded. All the glass is good. The trunk pan was covered with spray-on insulation (covering factory tar and insulation) and is solid. It is nicely covered in custom carpet. Underneath the car was left alone (not painted), appears to have the original undercoating. The Engine and Cruise-O-Matic Transmission work as they should. No smoking, funny noises or leaks. The engine and transmission were rebuilt by the previous owner and were fully inspected. Both very clean inside. The A/C Compressor was flushed, filled with the correct oil/freon, along with a new Filter/Drier. The Brakes are in excellent condition, the Power Booster was replaced by the previous owner. The frontend looks to be in very good condition with new Shocks, Idle Arm, Poly Strut Bushings and Sway Bar Link Bushings. Goes and stops straight. This T-bird also features Adjustable Rear Air Shocks, Auxiliary Power Steering and Transmission Coolers.
