This Auction Is For A 2001 Volkswagen Passat 1.8 Liter Turbo This Item Is In Great Condition!!! This car has been my daily commuter for the past 3-4 years or so. It is in wonderful shape with a few issues here and there, but in overall excellent condition. I have maintained this car mostly on my own but I have had it in the shop a couple times.. and I can provide all paperwork for your records. About 2 years ago I had a New Turbocharger put in $1600.. I use 5w 30 Synthetic oil only.. and since then it has ran Beautifully and strong. I've taken this car on several long trips and wouldn't hesitate to do so right now. It is very dependable and gets great gas mileage somewhere around 35mpg on the highway and 27mpg in the city.. but it's all in how you drive it. The clutch was replaced when I bought it 4 years ago, and it is strong and tight. Power windows all work with no problems from each door.. the master window control on driver's seat door is hesitant about the back windows but does work flawlessly on both front windows. 4 Brand new tires less than 6 months old installed at Wal-Mart. 2 week old battery was installed and has a 3 year free replacement warranty from Wal-Mart. Premium Sound System 6 speakers with amplifier and AM/FM Cassette/ 6 Disc CD Changer. Seats are in great shape.. Clean with NO Stains and firm. Carpet is also in great shape with no Tears or Rips or Stains. Exterior has a few issues but none to merit any problems. Small ding on passenger side hood fender barely noticeable. The hood has been Primered with gray primer due to clearcoat peeling.. the front fenders and nose of the car have some clearcoat peeling as well.. but the pictures show how it looks.. I've taken good pictures so you can judge for yourself.. Best of all... NO RUST on this vehicle!! There are a couple dash lights that come on.. one is the check engine light.. and it is the rear O2 sensor and the other is an ABS Fault which I had had checked out.. but the mechanic said to reset the computer and that one will go away.. seeing as how there is nothing wrong with the ABS System Here is the biggest issue. The AC Doesn't work.. But I do know why.. I Had the compressor checked and charged with coolant.. and all is well with the mechanics of the AC System.. It's an Electronic relay in the dash AC Control unit.. The VW dealer said it would cost around $150 for a new controller relay.. and I decided to find a used one on eBay and do it myself.. but I never got around to doing it. so it would be up to you how you handle it but otherwise... my loss is your gain so to speak. This Car is in Excellent Working condition and ready to become yours.. I know it will be dependable and its very fun to drive.. plenty of power and a great sound system.. Not to mention.. Great Gas Mileage   This Is A Great Car and the reason I am selling is that I have 3 cars at the moment and I am selling 2 of them now on EBay to get a Honda Element.. so I'm selling 2 to get 1.. lol..
