Vehicle Detail
97 BMW f650st Up for auction are two 97' BMW F650s. (See my other auction for the lowered one, "her" or if you are under 5'8") Kind of a his and hers bikes. They can be bought separate or together. ( See my other bike on auction for the lowered blue one)These bikes were purchased and completely gone through with a ride south from San Diego to Chile in mind. The bike was completely gone through to make sure it could make the trip. It has 50039 miles on it and is ready to make the trip. (It is being ridden so miles may not be the same at end of auction, but will be close.) They both have new 80/20 tires on them, and a very hard to find Aceribis 7gal desert tanks. This bike is standard height and has a black tank and the bike was painted black. The guy I bought it from dropped it in the gravel on the way to deliver it to me. It's got a little scuff which is shown in picture but other than that the bike is in great shape and ready for the trip.It also has heated grips, aux plug ins Corbin saddle original Jesse panniers crash guards and a tall AeroFlow windshield. The bikes are ready to travel and will be the perfect bikes to take where they can be serviced anywhere by anyone. I chose these because they were not fuel injected and any mechanic could use Japanese part to work on them. Simple and they would not draw attention from those who might be interested in taking your nice shinny bikes. Whatever your intended use, these are great bikes. 14 years ago my wife's first bike was one of these and she put 19k on it before moving up to a bigger bike. She's 5'2 and a 112 lbs. Side note that I did not make on the other bike in auction is the difference between the F650 and the F650ST. There is only one difference, the front wheel is an 18" instead of a 19". If you have questions or would like to buy one or both, please contact me. Have fun bidding.
