If you have made it to this ad, you know that Defenders have well-earned reputation as a rugged, no-nonsense, go-anywhere 4x4. They are also very hard to come by in the US. Recently Forbes listed the Defender as one of its best vintage SUVs - see here This is a SOLID running V8. It can be a daily driver as is. I had one of the top mechanics in our state comb through this vehicle and replace or fix any issues that were found. Please see the list below. There is very minor to no rust at all, this had a protective spray on the bottom, which is now coming off, but you can tell this went a long way in protecting this Defender. I had this painted last year with a more up-to-date Land Rover color - Lago Grey Pearl. The front and back mud flaps are brand new from Rovers North. The exterior looks amazing and is ready to go, this is where we have focused our restoration. There are still a few small dents and dings, but nothing major...they only add to its rugged character. The interior is still straight up 1985. The cloth seats are in excellent condition, with not rips or major stains. I removed some of the carpeting and was planning on Rhino Lining the floorboard. For a couple of grand you can finish out the interior to your tastes and have an excellent ride. This is not a perfect vehicle, I think if you are here looking for a 110 you know this. I have the exterior and engine looking and running as good as I possibly can. If you are expecting a pristine truck without a little work this is not for you.
