1983 Honda CB1000C Custom Candy Regal Brown and Chestnut Gold Metallic Good news: A terrific bike only made one year with 5454 actual miles. Air/oil cooled - 973 cc - 5 speed with dual range sub-transmission (10 speeds) - shaft drive. Honda’s four valve inline 4 cylinder engine – I had it tuned & carbs cleaned - stock four into four exhaust in really good shape. Brand new tires. (I’ve got new handlebar grips for it not shown in photo’s) Bad news: Bike has been down at low speed many years ago, resulting in dent in right front shoulder of tank, (did not break paint, not too obvious), a one quarter size blemish on top right muffler, and some damage to master brake cylinder on handlebar which did not affect its functionality, (see pictures). It has a non stock very comfy seat. Someone apparently dropped something on the front fender making a small dent in it. More bad news: Foolishly I have allowed it to sit for two years in my heated sealed garage without Stabil or Seafoam. Now it won’t start, probably needs another carb cleaning, the petcock has dried out causing some seepage, and there is some surface rust on the inside of tank. No title but 20 year documentation of history of bike. After some effort, I got this bike which has been in storage over 20 years. We tuned it up, cleaned the carbs and got it running good, (and rode it). Paint, aluminum and chrome in very nice shape. I may get it titled and raise price accordingly. I would rather help you with the documentation so you can get it titled. I am asking $1975 as is. If I get it running again good, (tune up, carb cleaning, clean out tank), $2475.
