IT'S SERIAL NUMBER PREFIX IS AGCM, IT IS STAMPED ON THE BLOCK BEHIND THE DISTRIBUTOR AND IT INDICATES THAT IT WAS BUILT AT THE TONAWANDA ENGINE ASSEMBLY PLANT IN THE 1949 MODEL YEAR.. ACCORDING TO THE OFFICIAL CATALOG OF CHEVY TRUCK ID NUMBERS, PUBLISHED BY CARS AND PARTS MAGAZINE, THIS ASSEMBLY IS ORIGINAL AND IS THE VERY SAME ENGINE THAT WAS INSTALLED BY THE FACTORY OVER 60 YEARS AGO ! !---PLEASE REFERENCE OUR PICTURES BELOW.. OUR LITTLE TRUCK ALSO RECEIVED A FRESH TUNE-UP USING GENUINE DELCO PARTS FROM OUR GM PARTS DEPARTMENT. THIS TUNEUP INCLUDED A NEW SET OF SPARK PLUGS, A NEW SET OF POINTS, A NEW CONDENSOR, A NEW SET OF PLUG WIRES AND A NEW DISTRIBUTOR CAP & ROTOR. DON'T WORRY ABOUT LOCKING UP THE VALUABLES, OUR LITTLE TRUCK RETAINS THE ORIGINAL DOOR LOCKING MECHANISMS AND THEY WORK CORRECTLY ON BOTH SIDES. THE WHEELS ARE THE 15 INCH FACTORY ORIGINALS WITH THE CORRECT HUBCAP CLIPS STILL IN PLACE. WE HAVE SANDBLASTED EACH THOROUGHLY AND PAINTED AND PRIMED THEM CORRECTLY.
