1988 Acura Legend Mileage: 259,690 I purchased this car from Pike’s Peak Acura in Colorado Springs in November 2012 and believe that I am only the 2nd owner. The car has been a good car and I’ve used it primarily to commute to and from college here in my home town. I am moving to Texas soon and I can’t bring both of my cars, so this one must go. Since I’ve owned this car, I have regularly changed the oil, replaced the MAP sensor, replaced the thermostat and gasket, replaced the radiator cap, as well as adding new coolant and bleeding the system. In December 2012, I replaced the front and rear brake pads, flushed the brake and clutch fluid as well as adjusted the emergency brake. The car has new winter wiper blades and just last month in May 2013, I replaced all four tires and replaced the ignition system ignitor solenoid. This car has a 2.7L V6 engine with no fluid leaks, does not burn oil and does not smoke. The engine seems to be pretty solid and the transmission shifts smoothly with no issues changing gears. This car is in factory form without any modifications. Even the stereo is still factory and plays nicely along with a factory equalizer that also works. The A/C works, but sometimes doesn’t blow very cold. The interior of the car is in exceptional condition. No tears in the seats or carpet and no cracks in the dash or doors. All of the glass is good condition except for the windshield which does have a crack in it. The horn works fine and the horn button will be fixed prior to sale. The exterior of the car is also in very nice condition for its age. It does have some nickel and dime sized dings and some faded paint, however, for an all original 25 year old car, it presents VERY nicely and looks good. This car does not have any major body rust, only a small section near the rear wheel on the drivers side. The mileage is just about ready to have the oil changed which I will do before the sale. The car is safe to drive, it drives in a straight line, starts well and stops well. It would be a great car for a first time driver or someone who just needed the car for local transportation. Obviously with the car having this many miles on it, I wouldn’t recommend it for interstate/long distance travel. This car is sold AS IS and it does NOT have a warranty. It will come with a folder that includes receipts from the work that I have done and also receipts from the Acura dealership from the previous owner who appeared to have the car maintained regularly at that dealership.
