This 2002 Jeep Liberty "Limited Edition"is a one owner vehicle.No one ever smoked in this Jeep.The tires which are four Kelly P235 70R16's are only a year and a half old.A penny goes over half way in when you measure the tread left.It had the 3.7 L V6 engine.At 117,843 it blew a rod.Our Local Chrysler Dealer partially tore the motor down hoping it might just need a timing chain.But they said it had broken a rod and now it needs a "Rebuilt Engine". The air conditioning unit -does not work-.The passenger side back door electric window does not work.The inside of the glass needs the residue of the duct tape that I had used originally to hold it up by taping the window against the inside side trim of the window cleaned off.I currently have unplugged the electric engine of the window by taking the inside door cover off.While I had this off I just placed a small board to strongly hold the window from going down.I believe the engine only costs $85.00 and you can download a PDF showing you how to replace it yourself.Chrysler wants $450.00 just to replace the electric engine on the power window. We had just gotten a new power steering unit put on recently but of course all of the engine goes back if whoever purchases the jeep trades the engine in for a rebuilt one. The brakes were replaced only a little over a year ago in Jan of 2012. I tried to be as detailed as I could so people can see that this jeep was never wrecked and that it didn't have any large dents etc.But of course it has a few small scratches because it is a 2002.But overall it is in good condition body wise.
