Vehicle Detail
You're bidding on a 2005 Chrysler 300C. To begin, I've sold several vehicles on ebay motors and take pride in my clarity of description, honesty and providing well maintained vehicles. In this listing, you'll receive a general description as well as separate itemizations of the good and bad aspects of the vehicle. Thank you in advance for your interest in my listing! This is a very strong running, smooth shifting vehicle that attracts compliments by many people! I've driven this 300C on a daily basis for approximately 2 years and have enjoyed every mile. This is, by far, one of the smoothest, most comfortable and most attractive cars I've ever owned. Further, with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 and 5 speed automatic with manual gear selecting ability, this car will accelerate and drive much faster than any police officer would ever allow. It has a quiet demeanor, but when provoked, provides a deep, burly note from it's dual exhausts. Finished in Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl paint with chrome bumper accents, mirrors, door handles and 18" wheels, this is one very sharp car. Even being 8 years old, friends and coworkers frequently compliment the bold attractiveness of the 300C. The paint on this car is very glossy with ZERO rust. Since owning it, I've treated the paint with a clay bar and carnuba wax at least twice per year. The interior is light gray leather, with a matching carpet and lower dash. The upper dash is a dark gray. The two tones create a very nice environment. In addition, the 300C comes with specific chrome and metal trim pieces with a wood trimmed steering wheel, shifter knob and door pulls. You can see on the window sticker that this 300C has the optional Genuine California Walnut Wood Trim. Overall, the interior has a clean, simple design with classic, chrome trimmed gauges and a center digital display containing navigation instructions, vehicle settings, trip computer info, outside temperature display and compass. This display is controlled by redundant steering wheel buttons. All the leather is clean with only the driver's seat showing moderate wear marks. This car has a Boston Accoustic sound system with 380 watts, 10 speakers, 6 disc CD changer and GPS navigation system. All features of this system work correctly, including the vehicle maintenance reminders and the car comes with a navigation disc installed. I've also had an ipod/iphone adapter professionally installed and is accessed through the center console. Some of the other notable features on this car include optional automatic HID headlamps with washers, fog lamps, optional power moon roof, an optional factory-installed engine block heater, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, two position seat, mirror and steering wheel memory, power tilt-telescope steering wheel, dual power heated seats, dual zone automatic climate control, auto-dimming mirrors, universal garage door opener, stability control and a rear trunk-lip spoiler. The Positive As I mentioned in the beginning, I maintain vehicles very well. Since owning this 300C, I've replaced the console shifter unit, throttle body, spark plugs (16 OF THEM!!), EGR valve, front sway bar bushings, front and rear brake rotors and pads, fog lamps (due to faded plastic) and the driver's side HID bulb ($260!!). I also had 4 new Michelins installed last fall. All power features as well as the Air Conditioning work as they should. The Negative This vehicle is 8 years old, and as stated above, has very good overall paint quality. With this being said, it does have a few light scratches here and there. The doors and side panels are all flat without dents. The door-mounted bump strips on the both sides of the car do however have small scratches where other drivers have bumped them in tight parking lots. If there is a weakness to the exterior of this vehicle, it is the front nose. Since I purchased it, the car has had signs of what were probably many bug splats on the front that were left on long enough to leave their impressions in the paint. From a distance, these dull spots are not visible. Once you're kneeling down and looking closely though, you'll see that the finish of the car's nose is not great. I tried to show this in my pictures as best as possible. In regard to the interior, I've always felt that the carpet was a weak spot. I've scrubbed it several times, but the light gray is a very difficult color to keep clean. I have two sets of carpeted mats as well as a set of gray rubber mats. All of these will go with the vehicle. Similar to most auto-dimming mirrors, the exterior driver's side mirror has begun to discolor. This can be seen in the photo I've provided. The power and dimming features still operate, it's just discolored in the daylight. The driver's side door lock does not always work with the remote keyless entry. You must lock it either by hand or with the key. The local Chrysler dealer told me that it is a loose wire connection "somewhere" in the door. I put off the repair and then simply never had it addressed. It should be noted that even though the door may not lock when pressing the remote lock button, the alarm still arms. So if someone tries opening the door, the alarm will still sound. If there are any questions that are left unanswered by my description or photos, please send me a message and I will respond as soon as I can.
