Car was restored in 2001 It was stripped and painted, then the original interior was reinstalled. the engine was rebuilt at that time, along with the transmission. The odometer was reset at that time. I purchased it in 2005, and the odometer read 700 miles. It now reads 2,300 miles. After I purchased it I had the original bumpers rechromed to show quality and then just drove it. In 2007 I purchased another toy, so this car has not been driven much since then. I do start it and drive it about 50 miles twice a year, and I did drive it 50 miles last sunday. The paint is show quality and has been professionally wet sanded and polished. there are no flaws in the paint or body, with the exception of a small dent in the left rear that resulted from the loose jack in the trunk hitting it when i went around a corner. The car is fast, drives straight, and stops straight. It sounds fantastic! The gas guage works but is not very accurate. the heater fan does not work and has not since i have owned it. I never bothered to fix it because i never drove it in the winter. The speedometer works, but cable was noisy when I drove it last sunday, so I disconnected it. last sunday I did have it inspected at a National Street Rod Association and it passed their 23 point safety inspection with no problems. This is not a numbers matching car. There is no rust on the car.
