This is an original 1985 Chevrolet Silverado 4x4 with the 6.2L diesel motor. The truck was bought new and kept by the original owner until sold to me and always kept inside. The paperwork is original, the miles are original, and the truck is beautiful. Truck was bought new in November of 1984. The original cost was just under $16k. Just as with any used vehicle, there are a few scratches on it. I was told that the only problem with the truck is that the cruise control didn't work, although I haven't tested it out yet. Truck has a toolbox on it and a bed mat. There is a small dent in the rear bumper. The truck has under 27k original miles on it. It is black with a red side pin stripe. The inside in like a burnt red color. The seat, dash, and overall interior is spotless and beautiful. I doubt you will ever see one this nice unless it was painstakingly restored. This truck has the original uniroyal tires on it. There is no rust on the body. I have taken pictures of the undercarriage so that you can see what little surface rust is there. The chrome is beautiful, the truck is beautiful. The inside is near perfect. The AC has been converted to the newer type of freon. The truck isn't new, but it is about as close as you can come considering it is 28 years old. Don't ask me the reserve. I will not disclose it. The truck isn't 'for sale locally'. The truck will run its course on Ebay and if it doesn't meet the reserve, then I will entertain offers. I will not end the auction early. The tires would be my only thought against because of their age. They aren't dry rotted or anything, but that would have to be a judgement call. Would I personally drive it cross county? Not without some new tires, but that is just me being particular. If the truck doesn't sell, I will be putting new tires on it myself for me to drive everywhere.
