INCLUDED: 1974 VW Super Beetle, 3 Books, 4 VW Hub Caps, 1 Spare Side Mirror VEHICLE HISTORY/REPAIRS: I purchased this vehicle in 1998 as my first car. It needed a new odometer. I had the engine rebuilt at the start of 1999. Around 2002 I had the wheel assembly replaced and got a paint job replacing the orange exterior with blue; however, over the years the paint job has had some sun damage. In 2003 it got a new head liner. I installed a rear seat push-start button. In 2004 the car received damage to the rear passenger side fender, shown in the pictures. Since 2005 the car has not been driven more than a few miles/month, really just around the block on the weekends. In the last couple years I have replaced the rear axles and bearings, the brake system, and the fuel system, including the gas tank. So as you can see with all of the repairs I've made it has strong bones, but needs some love in terms of appearances. It also doesn't maintain idle well - it requires a little pressure on the gas, but I think that is an easy fix for someone who knows how to tweak it. I love this car; it is a great Sunday-drive. But I think the car deserves an owner who has more time to devote to restoring its interior/exterior to showroom quality.
