Vehicle Detail
1975 Suzuki Re5 M. Clean, honest bike. This is one of the bikes from my personal collection. IT IS NOT PERFECT. It is almost 40 years old, and is a nice unit in my opinion. All of the M specific (expensive and hard to find) parts are there. This one is an early M as evidenced by the hard oil cooler lines. Condition: Please look at the photos and decide for yourself. I will provide other photos and answer any questions. I have included a photo of the compression test, performed on a factory rotary tester. The engine tests as well as a new crate engine. I performed some other tests to make sure that it was safe to fire, and put fuel in her and hit the button. She sat on my work stand and idled smoothly. The paint is good and original factory paint. there are a few small dings and chips. I have tried to show them in the photographs. The wheels are very nice. They appear to have been stripped of the factory clear coat that oxidizes so badly. The chrome is very nice, but not perfect. There are a few small spots on the fenders, but overall they are excellent for the age. The exhausts are both very nice and present well, as does the chain guard, however, it is missing the rubber duckie. All in all, this is a very nice unit that will make someone a very nice rider to enjoy. She will need a complete wheel to wheel service before riding. The brakes are dry, and the calipers and master cylinder will most likely need to be rebuilt. In my opinion, a competent mechanic could have this bike road ready fairly easily. Terms: I will ship anywhere in the world at the buyers expense. I will work with the shipper of your choosing at no expense. I will not, build a crate, or forge customs documents. There is a reserve. I believe it is a fair reserve. You may not. That is fine, we can agree to disagree. I am thinning my heard, and thought someone would enjoy a fine motorbike. I will not disclose the reserve, please don't ask as your question will be ignored. I will accept a $1000.00 deposit via Paypal. I will only accept cash or verified wire transfer for the balance. If you come to my location to pick the bike up and find that I have mis-described the bike, I will refund all of your money with the exception of 45.00, to cover half the cost of Ebay fees. Fair enough? Please look at the photos as I have done my best to accurately describe the bike. She is a beauty, but not perfect as she is almost 40 years old. I will answer questions via email and will provide my phone number for in depth questions. Thanks for looking!
