I HATE TO SELL THIS TRUCK BUT I HAVE NO CHOICE, I HAD SET A VERY LOW RESERVE ON THE SHORTEST TIME LISITNG(3 DAYS) BECAUSE I NEED THE MONEY FAST TO PAY RENT AND KNEW IT WOULD SELL FAST. SO PLEASE DONT BID UNLESS YOU PLAN ON BUYING...well enough about that , can you see why Im so upset?? 1998 Chevrolet Silverado SWB Ext. cab 4x4 k1500, 3 dr everything works, seats, lights, locks, windows, cruise, interior like new, a/c blows cold, 4 wheel drive works runs, drives, shifts. spray in bedliner, keyless entry, K&N filter has current TX registration and state inspection 198,465 mi. sold as is 5.7 liter 350 vortec - plenty of power still growls on open road torsion lift keys - set at lowest 14 bolt heavy duty rear end dual 2.5 mandrel bent exhaust - no tips flowmaster 50 series muffler dual in/out chrome nerf bars mtx mono amp w/12" polk sub under rear driver side seat just replaced front rotors and pads new drums and shoes not installed, included (wearever and thermoquiet) 285/16 tires still 50% tread remaining w/lifetime balance an rotation Problems: This truck is over 15 years old its not in perfect condition it has small chips and scratches on paint windshield has small chips chips and scratches on bed rails Pulls to the right while driving on most roads needs upper control arm bushing have new moog bushing not installed, included Hard to start once every 5-10 starts or pro-longed periods between starts. due to low fuel pressure. fuel pump or clogged injectors have new $400 bosch pump not installed, included New primered tailgate and power lock, included needs paint and installation Leaks oil after parked about the size of a nickel never been a big deal Someone stole the transfer case skid plate and tranny skid plates (not the transfer case/tranny itself) ordered used oem replacements not installed, included Its been a good reliable truck since 2007 have to sell, need vehicle with better gas milage due to work commute getting 50mi a day longer Tires have transferable lifetime balance and rotation via walmart- receipt included No accidents this is a solid truck Within last 14 months have replaced all 4 balljoints upper and lower with Moog Kelly Blue Book rates it as "Good Condition" with current options valued at $5020.00 Buyer must pickup or arrange shipment ***NOTE*** 2 sets of pics 3 pics were taken at another time on a different camera Sold as is - No warranty Title clear and in hand For Sale locally ****UPDATE*** I havnt driven this truck in over two weeks and since the auction is about to be over, I decided to go on a 30 min drive around town . I noticed about half way through my drive that I smelled coolant burning. So upon further inspection found that one of the tranny cooler lines fron the radiator is either cracked, broken, or loose. Probably the most pressing issue on this truck. Winning bidder needs to address this situation ASAP.
