Very rare and awesome 1973 Alfa Romeo Berlina with 57K original miles. This sporty sedan is fast, nimble and a blast to drive. It has the 2000cc engine with European cams, a slim euro fan and Marelliplex electronic ignition. Excellent 5 speed transmission (no synchro grind), red Konis, lowered performance springs and star mags with Yokahama Avids. The rear muffler is new and the resonator has been replaced with a straight pipe. Recent FM stereo with an MP3 player and aux input. The steering wheel is the better Personal brand from a Spider. Expensive euro tail lights and MB fog lamps are a few upgrades. In the past recent years it has had a replacement ignition switch, center console, knobs, gauges and rewiring. New shift boot, shift plate, bronze steering shaft bushing, Thermostatic actuator, heater fan motor, heater hoses, throttle pedal and pads, brakes are 80%. Motor mounts, transmission mount, complete Spica injection tune, throttle bell crank and ends, distributor O-ring, oil seal to steering box, plugs, cap, and life long free flow air filter elements (International Autoparts), starter shims and bolts. New alternator wiring harness, starter wiring with added relay (battery located in trunk), new ball joints, front bushings, booster hose, thermostat, and all fluids renewed. Everything works except the clock and the trip counter. The exterior is presentable but the paint is faded, the left rear door and the trunk lid have cracks in the paint. Very nice, clean undercarriage, please see photos. Decent interior with normal wear, few cracks in the dash pad under the sun cover. This Berlina runs and drives great. I’m told there are less than 300 in the US. Excellent opportunity to own a fun, interesting, low mileage, very collectible and rare Alfa sports sedan, certain to appreciate in value.
