This is an ultra rare Chevy Malibu M80. There was no factory Malibu SS options available in 1980, however, there was a 1980 Malibu M80 that was a dealer package for only North and South Carolina Dealerships in an effort to revive the muscle car era. To this day it is unknown how many are left or were actually produced. (estimates place this around 1900 cars produced) All M80's had to be white with dark blue bucket seats and center console interior! The base of the M80 was a 2 door sport coupe equipped with the F41 Sport Suspension package. The normal V-8 (140 HP) drive train. The M80 option added 2 dark blue skunk stripes up top and a lower door stripe with the M80 identification. The package also added front and rear spoilers in 1981 steel rally wheels. However, this M80 comes equipped with a 0 miles 383 stroker motor dynoed at 425 HP at 5800 RPMs. The car has 60,000 original miles. It has gone through a ground up restoration.
