1965 2+2 Ford Mustang Fastback A Code -( 289 V8, 4 bbl 225 hp.) 4 speed - Rally Pac Here lies the rare opportunity to own a piece of nostalgia and history! Built in October 1964 in San Jose, California, this truly is a California car!Original black and yellow California license plate with original pink slip, owned by the same person for the past 49 years. All original and runs and drives, just needs total restoration. MOTOR The motor starts right up and has a little exhaust. Rally Pac Tac works. 83,000 (true mileage unknown). Vehicle was last registered in 1982. I have inspected the casting numbers of the block and valve covers to determine that they match up to the assembly date stamped on the motor validating not only matching numbers but original to the car. INTERIOR Red standard interior - all in need of replacement. EXTERIOR/BODY Original color is Raven Black. Rear quarter panels have some rust. Replacement panels are included. Right front floor pan has a little rust but not enough to replace, just patch. Drivers side lower rear quarter has a small patch of bondo. Fenders and doors are original with some minor door dents, no bondo that I am aware of. It is not often that you can find a car with this history and with the Ford Mustang 50 year anniversary coming up you could own this one 50 years newer!
