This beautiful 1997 Lincoln Town Car, Cartier Edition has only 51,846 original miles! It is CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN! Beautifully maintained by the only owners this car ever had, who were an older, non-smoking couple who have now both passed away, it is now offered up for auction by the Executor for the Estate. (REALLY!) I felt that this forum was the best place to Market this car so as to reach persons who can appreciate this special vehicle; It deserves a wide audience! Low Reserve of only 3999.00; Kelley Blue Book Value is >$6000.00 This car would have to be considered 'Gently Used', with only minor dings and blemishes that could probably be touched up, worked out or overlooked. (BTW, included with the vehicle is a small applicator bottle of "Touch-Up Paint"). There are 2 reported "events" on the AutoChek Report, but I have not found any documentation regarding these and, judging from the report also saying there was 'no frame/unibody damage', they must have been minor. All routine maintenance was fulfilled in a timely manner by the owner's brother's Garage and major repairs performed by the local L/M Dealer. The following repairs of that nature are documented as having been done: Replace Electric Window regulator mechanism: (1) each on Driver and Pass. side, front doors (PCM) Powertrain Control Module - Cal. # F7PF-CGB 7124 (12/2/2011)Crankshaft Position Sensor (@50,809 miles)Fuel Pump, Screen & Filter (2/28/2012) (From what I have been told and have read, these are either common repairs for this model LTC, or they are things that are known to sometimes give trouble and need replacing after a certain amount of time. READ ON...      Is there any flawed paint work, body putty, etc. from the previous accidents ?   I DO NOT KNOW. I'LL TAKE MORE PICS, BIGGER ONES, SO YOU CAN LOOK CLOSER.     This paint is very hard to match.  Can you see any mismatch where damage was repaired ? NONE THAT I CAN SEE. ALL LOOKS LIKE THE ORIGINAL TO ME.                         Are the tires original.  If so are there any age cracks in the sidewalls or treads   OK, THEY LOOK LIKE FIVE NEARLY NEW MICHELINS, WARRANTY BOOKLET INSIDE THE GLOVEBOX.   THERE WAS ALSO A “COOPER” WARRANTY BOOK WHICH WAS PROBABLY FROM THE ORIGINALS   Does everything on the car work properly?   BEST I CAN TELL. THE BUILT IN CELL PHONE IS GONE NOW. BUT IT WAS ANALOG AND OBSOLETE IN THIS AREA. IT COULD NOT EVEN MAKE A 911 CALL ON TODAY'S NETWORK. Does it ride and drive as it should ? IT RIDES AS GREAT AS IT ALWAYS HAS!     Is there any wind noise at cruising speeds due to faulty rubber seals ? NO, I'M PRETTY SURE I'D HAVE REMEMBERED THAT!     Can you see any fluid leaks from the drive train … maybe spots on the ground?   NONE     Is it gold, cream or white color?   As for the Car's color, it is definitely not White! It looks just like it does in the first picture of the Auction, taken in the Driveway. Now, I'm Color Blind, which means I don't see colors quite the same as others do. But the Color is definitely not White or Tan. ‘Creamy-Pearl’ish might be a good description. It is listed on the Sticker as "Ivory Pearlescent" and on the web site page referenced here it says that color was ONLY available on the Cartier:   autopedia.com/Linco/97_TownOpt.html       Has it recently been inspected by a mechanic for overall condition?   THE OWNER’S BROTHER OWNS A GARAGE AND SERVICED IT REGULARLY.
