Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my 1977 Ford F-150 4x4 Truck has desirable and hard to find 300 Straight 6 cyl with endless amounts of torque. Truck runs strong and 4x4 works great! -4.9 6 cyl - Manual trans with strong clutch -Newer lock outs -manual choke -new gas tank -4-6" lift -35" tires - Complete drive line fluid change - Ford 9" rear end -New alternator I believe the engine and driveline in this truck is original. Truck runs strong and is a work horse. Here are some things I know are wrong with the truck, Please keep in mind this is a 36 year old truck and yes it will have rust and dry rotten weather stripping so please if you come to look at truck don't act surprised. I am stating it has rust , the frame and cab floors are solid. - Gas gauge does not work - Washer fluid does not spray - has common oil leaks - axle shafts leak some - Dent in drivers side door, It works but if you close it all the way you need to re enter from passenger side, can exit out drivers. Dent is over door handle area. - Could use a carb re build, however it does run and idle great 99% of the time, it has motorcraft carb. - Needs turn signal flashers replaced - rusty in spots - needs new weather stripping - rear tires are about %75 tread left fronts are about %15 left - speedo is off about 8mph due to 35" tires - no radio or glove box liner Now for the good, I bought this truck a while back to use as a wood hauler and to restore because of the engine and driveline it has. I have taken great care of the truck and fixed what i noticed as I came across it. It has had a complete service and drive line fluid change with all fluids being Valvoline. I have used this truck on the coldest days we had this winter and with it sitting outside, each time I could walk out and pump it a couple times and it would start right up with no issues! Heater also works great! The truck will run 60-65 mph down the road (safe road) with no issues, I drive this truck weekly and enjoy it. I tend to want to restore everything I have and take great care of it. I purchased this truck (as the wife thought) to be a wood hauler, well when I started to fix things on it and kept talking about restoring it she informed me that my goal is only a dream at this point, so I am forced (to keep her happy) by selling it. I really have enjoyed this truck and know it will make someone a great work horse or resto project. I dont want to see it sitting im my drive with the wife not allowing me to do anymore to it so it has to go. I can jump in it anytime and take it anywhere with no issues, I even took it on a 4hr straight road trip this winter and did not have any issues. This truck has been fun and I hate to see it go. On Apr-12-13 at 19:01:30 PDT, seller added the following information: If shipping is something that you would inquire about, I can have this truck shipped for about $2.50 +- a mile is the quotes I am getting. That is up to 300 miles. Location and day of week depends on price. Buyer would be fully responsible for shipping charges and would have to pay in full prior to being loaded onto transport truck. If getting the truck shipped is something you are considering (PLEASE GET WITH ME PRIOR TO AUCTION CLOSE) To make arrangements if you are the winning bidder. I did forget to mention the back window is a sliding window and one smaller section has plexi glass in place of factory glass. Also if you have any questions I do not check my email often. Feel free to txt me at a reasonable time at 260-336-6292 Some questions I have been asked already: - The wheels are white steel and hold air great, no leaks - Clear Indiana Title in hand - No knocks - Holds good oil pressure - No overheating issues - 4x4 works well, no "chattering" transfer case functions smooth 2H-4H- 4L Ok, I am forced to Re-List this truck because of a buyer that did not pay. Please if you are going to bid on the truck make sure you are wanting to bid on it and can pay for it. Also I have been honest about everything on it, yes I did state it has rust, however its not a rust bucket its a truck that is 36 years old and of course has rust. No its not going to fall off of cab, no the frame is not rusted bad. The cab does have a new floor in it, its sealed and screwed, I would have chosen to weld it but I didn't do it. The frame Like I said is solid, it has some new suspension bushings as well. So please don't think you are buying a truck to put on the showroom and please don't think you are buying a rust bucket either. I am just stating everything I know about it. So happy bidding and please if your bidding, make sure you want the truck, also if you have any question, comments, concerns or anything please communicate with me.
