It's time to sell my 1980 CB750K that I have had for 8 years. It runs and rides very nicely. The pictures speak for themselves, this is a nice looking bike. Check out the nice non-pitted chrome fenders and exhaust. The tank is very nice and shiny, there are a few scratches here and there as to be expected. The LH side cover is like new and has all the tabs. The RH side cover is in very good condition and also has all tabs, but is from a 1981 model year bike so the color and pin striping aren't a perfect match. This bike starts up and runs well. The carbs were cleaned a couple years ago and the valve were adjusted less than 1000 miles ago. The charging system has been repaired with a new regulator. The chain is a new gold x-ring chain with less than 1000 miles on it. The seat has been recovered to look like the original. The front brake caliper has been cleaned out to prevent the brake from dragging and the master cylinder has been replaced with one from a CB900F. It works fine but is a little stiff to squeeze. The tires are Bridgestone Spitfires with less than 2000 miles on them, ready to hit the road. There are blemishes here and there but that is to be expected. All the lights and gauges work well as of this posting, I've been riding to work and back. This exhaust should be correct to the bike. The CB750C did NOT come with this style exhaust. I know this for a fact because I own a first year 1980 CB750C as well to compare. The 1979 and 1980 CB750K DID come with this exhaust. There are plenty of pictures on google to confirm this. Late 1980 CB750K's have a flatter cutoff looking end on the mufflers like the CB750C did.On May-08-13 at 06:16:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I also forgot to mention that this bike has a new Dyna 2000 CDI ignition system complete with new coils and wires installed!
